Parker Martin, Web / Graphic / Motion Designer
Parker is a web & graphic designer who occasionally creates animated video works. Parker was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario where he attended McMaster University, obtaining a B.A. Hons in Multimedia combined with Theatre & Film. After working as a freelance graphic & web designer, he moved on to work as a webmaster and web developer intern with the Ecumenical Advocacy Alliance in Geneva, Switzerland. Parker strongly believes in quality over quantity, and strives to finish work with a high degree of craftsmanship. In his spare time, Parker plays the violin. Additionally, he creates original illustrations for a variety of different artistic endeavours.

The Perspective Grid within tool in Adobe Illustrator is extremely useful for one point, two point, and three point perspective. However, within illustrator, there isn’t a clear set of instructions for manipulating the grid itself, which is frustrating. I read a few tutorials from a variety of sources, but I feel as though a more formal taxonomy of grid handles combined with proper terminology could be a great benefit to users. Read more...
