Chad Ingles, Chief Operating Officer
Chad is the Chief Operating Officer at factor[e]. In this role he is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company and works with the rest of the senior leadership team to manage our overall business strategy.
Chad is a lifelong programmer with deep knowledge from transistor-level to cloud services. He has been working in the technology industry for more than 15 years primarily in the areas of business and infrastructure application development, large-scale global systems management, and executive-level technology strategy development in North America and Europe. Most recently he worked as a consultant for Microsoft Canada delivering projects for a wide range of clients including Municipal, Provincial and Federal government departments, national communications companies, and most of the "big 5" Canadian banks.

At some point in the world of consulting it's important to cut the BS and get things done. After spending the last 5+ years as a consultant in increasingly senior and strategic roles I forgot how much I enjoy actually getting things done. After spending many years in large and small organizations I've had the pleasure of participating in and observing lots of fun, successful projects. And of course I've seen my share of not-so-successful, and certainly not-so-fun projects! I've seen inordinate amounts of money and resources wasted on transformational, "grand plan" projects and have come to form some strong opinions about how large and small organizations should collaborate to achieve the results they are both seeking.
