On the Floor
Thanks for visiting our blog.
You may notice the post you're looking for isn't here. Upon further reflection, and a really quick roundtable discussion in the office, we decided it was really sending the wrong message.
Sure, it was funny, but I realized I was jumping on the "clients don't understand design" bandwagon, which is not at all reflective of factor[e]'s actual views on the matter.
The truth is, clients do understand design. They have a great grasp on what it takes to run their business, just as we do for ours. Being able to teach prospective clients a little about what we can do for them is great, not a source of derision.
In light of this, what we find we're actually talking about is why this opinion is so prevalent among designers - a far more interesting discussion. We'd love to hear your thoughts on it.
Update: The full initial post as well as a short explanation can be found here.
